From the traditional flower-filled courtyard ceremony and champagne toast to bedding on a beautiful heirloom quilt, these rituals of European culture can be a unique way to personalize your wedding ceremony and pay tribute to your love. Whether eloping, renewing vows or wanting a quiet memorable wedding ceremony this offer was created to honor your special day.

The Coupe de Marriage package includes:

  • two night stay in thoughtfully appointed king guest room for the Bride & Groom
  • house-made, natural fresh fruit essence water at check-in
  • in-room welcome amenity of chilled bottle of Champagne
  • couple’s massage in the privacy of your guest room
  • wedding day ceremony that includes  minister, license and wedding ceremony
  • one night’s five-course dinner for two with selected wine pairings for two at critically acclaimed Restaurant L’Auberge Carmel, recently named #20  best restaurant in the USA by Gourmet magazine
  • at turndown a traditional French wedding quilt will rest on top of the marriage bed
  • daily European style breakfast for two

Rates for L’Auberge Carmel’s couples basic wedding package are based on accommodations for two people and start at $4965 for weekend stays. Restaurant gratuities, service fees and all taxes are not included.

You can expand on the Coupe de Marriage couple's package for additional guest if desired. Prices for additional guest rooms and/or dinners are available on request.  Arrangements for a custom, exclusive Dream Villa Wedding, to include all 20 rooms/40 people can be arranged. Almost immediately upon opening, the hotel and restaurant received critical acclaim from national magazines. The restaurant was featured in the January 2005 issue of Bon Appetit, as "Best of the Year. Restaurant Hot Seat". Robb Report's 17th annual "Best of the Best" June 2005 issue selected L'Auberge Carmel as one of the new best dining destinations in the United States. Gourmet magazine named the restaurant #20 "America's Top 50 Restaurants" in 2006. In January 2005, Conde Nast Traveler's Readers Poll selected L'Auberge Carmel as the #42 best hotel in the United States, and the magazine's January 2006, 2007 and 2008 issue listed the hotel on its prestigious Gold List. Travel & Leisure magazine added the hotel to its "World's Best List" in 2007 & 2008.

Executive Chef Christophe Grosjean's cooking philosophy is built on spontaneity. With farmers delivering products daily to the Aubergine kitchen, Christophe and his team focus on making the most of these natural, fresh products. The ingredients are the stars of his menu.
